What JayBird Freedom Customers Think Of Their Headphones

Wednesday, June 6th, 2012

Here at JayBird we know that our product is awesome, but a lot of companies say that about their own product.  So we decided to let some photos and reviews from our customers show you and tell you what’s so awesome about the JayBird Freedoms!

tswany11 from Minneapolis, Minnesota said the JayBird Freedoms are, “Great for music!”

First thing I want to say is that I use these almost exclusively for music and not talking, so the little that I say about the phone/talking might be a special situation – you can be the judge. I have owned these for about a year now.

I use these mountain biking and at work. While mountain biking I have never had a problem with sweat dislodging it from me ear. I use both the webbed cushion that goes in your ear, and the clip that goes around the outside of your ear. Even when the cord has caught on a tree branch, I have never had them ripped out of my ear. JayBird Freedom Headphones Review from Best Buy Customers

Thursday, May 3rd, 2012

The JayBird Freedom Headphones are available at Best Buy and are getting some rave reviews.

Here are a few reviews that have been left by satisfied customers at bestbuy.com

JoshW41 from Wadsworth, OH

After going round and round with several different headphone options, including the Motorola Bluetooth version, I stumbled upon the JayBird Freedom JF3′s on the shelf. The staff in the mobile department said they had just come in, and they hadn’t tried them, but they liked the other JayBird products, so these had to be up-to-par. I’d absolutely recommend these to anyone who is looking for new headphones. (more…)

Sportsband Review from Running4themasses

The following is a review of the JayBird Sportsband Bluetooth Headphones by http://running4themasses.wordpress.com their blog contains “Information about running for and Ordinary Average Joe”

Product Review: Jaybird Sportsband

Recently, I reviewed the Plantronic 903+ BackBeat Bluetooth Headphones.  They are one of the nicer Bluetooth headphones on the market.

However; there is one brand that I think stands head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to Bluetooth headphones and headphones designed for working out.  The company is Jaybird.

I highly recommend you check out their website at the link about for their complete product rundown and description of all of their product lines.

For close to a year now, I’ve been using the Jaybird Sportsband 2 (pictured above) and per my previous review of the Plantronics headphones, have mixed the 903+ into the mix.  I had a run last night, and decided I wanted to use the Jaybird headphones, and I am glad I did.  I forgot how much I love these headphones. Top Fitness Trends

Saturday, March 24th, 2012

We have all made our New Year resolutions and maybe you are diligent and have actively been pursuing a stronger healthier your.  I have been researching what has been going on as far as exercise in my area, but I wanted to dig a little deeper and see if what is trending here is trending nation wide.  This list may not come as a surprise to some of you. Perhaps the biggest surprise is what’s missing from this year’s list: Pilates, which was among the top 10 trends in 2008, 2009 and 2010, now has fallen out of the top 20 for the second consecutive year.

A skeptical of a newcomer to this year’s list is Zumba and other dance workouts. Some are not convinced it will stay there. Some rankings are partly driven by the economy and might score higher in some regions clubs have to hire instructors with specialized training, and those classes cost more. Zumba is a good example. It scored well in the Northeast but isn’t as popular in the South, where unemployment is still at 10 percent.

Mind Over Matter

Monday, March 19th, 2012

There is one common factor that stops people reaching their true potential whether you’re a client, a regular gym user or even an athlete. The problem is your own mind set. There are too many phrases like “I can’t do it, it’s too hard” or “I’m tired” -which are all used far too often. All that has happened here; is they have already convinced themselves they are defeated, and this is before they have even started! People will always find it difficult to reach fitness goals with a negative outlook or attitude. So this is simply “Mind over Matter” This is something I have learnt over time;in fitness industry. CHANGING THE GAME: FREEDOM BLUETOOTH WIRELESS HEADPHONES by Sean Sweeney

STYLE – KICKS AND GEAR / FEB 10, 2012 / 5:00 PM

BY SEAN SWEENEY http://dimemag.com/2012/02/changing-the-game-freedom-bluetooth-wireless-headphones/

Having trouble finding headphones that actually work in the gym? And by work, I mean they don’t fall, don’t blow out if they get sweaty and don’t cause a nuisance with their wires hanging down your torso? If you’re like me in this – not only can I NOT work out without music, but I am constantly searching for some good headphones to use – you should probably check out Jaybird’s Freedom Bluetooth Wireless Headphones.

I was lucky enough to get sent a pair of these and they are awesome. It takes a few minutes to figure out where everything goes (probably because there are so many little additions), but once you get the fit customized to your ear, the music never wavers and the fit never slides. There are three sizes of ear tips and three sizes of secure ear cushions and at first, I couldn’t quite figure out what to do with everything. Once I did figure it out and got it customized, it almost felt like a magnet to my ear. It never moved. The honey comb center of the ear tip gives a balanced amount of resistance against the back bowl of the ear (top, back and bottom), thus holding the ear tip securely forward in the ear. (more…)

JayBird Bluetooth Headphones Signal Range

Thursday, February 9th, 2012

Range indoors

If indoors, you can walk up to 10 meters (33 feet) away from the music device while listening to music wirelessly.

Bluetooth Headphones

Range outdoors or at the gym

If outdoors or in large open spaces like a gym (where the Bluetooth radio signal cannot bounce of nearby ceilings or walls), you’ll likely need your music device closer like in an armband on your arm. The orange area shown is the optimal reception range when outdoors.

Avoid blocking the signal between the music device and headphones with your body. Your body is mostly water which the Bluetooth radio signal cannot penetrate.
