For this special Halloween edition of the Weekly Fourcast, we asked the crew at Jaybird headquarters for their favorite hair-raising podcasts. From ghost stories to dark mysteries and true crime tales, check out our spooky, suspenseful, and supernatural podcast picks.
Spooked!, A Friend in the Forest
I love that this podcast features true-life supernatural stories, told firsthand by people who can barely believe these things have happened themselves. As soon as I heard this episode, I had to digest it with the entire Jaybird Team. A few of us gathered around to chat about how we had chills the entire time we were listening.

Rabbits, Season 1 is the podcast that got me hooked on podcasts. If you like mysterious disappearances, ancient games and old school gaming culture, this is the podcast for you! It’s really well written and produced. One episode and you’re down the rabbit hole. R U Playing?

Limetown, What We Know
After bingeing through Serial, I realized podcasts were more than just news and sports. I found Limetown after browsing the top charts on iTunes and it’s another good example of a well-produced multi-part podcast. It’s like an audio book short story. Full of suspense and a nod to the supernatural, it plays out like a fictional documentary—I actually Googled it to ensure it wasn’t real!
– Rakesh Patel
Lore is a bi-weekly podcast about dark historical tales. Each episode explores the mysterious creatures, tragic events, and unusual places that fill the pages of history. Because sometimes the truth is more frightening than fiction.
