The latest Jaybird RUN firmware version is 1.1.6. This update has general bug fixes. It won’t take more than 5-10 minutes.

Step 1 - Download the app

Using Windows? Download Windows version

Step 2 - Install the app

After the app has downloaded, double click the .dmg file. A Finder window showing its contents will open. Drag and Drop the app into the Applications folder to complete the installation.

Step 3 - Run the app

Start the app by selecting Jaybird RUN Update Assistant from within the Applications folder.

Step 4 - Follow the instructions

Follow the instructions provided within the app to connect and update your buds.

How to update your Jaybird RUN Windows

How do I know if my Jaybird RUN have the latest firmware?

There are two ways to check if your RUN have the latest firmware.

1. Jaybird App

Install the Jaybird app and connect your RUN buds

Android: Go to Menu → Support

iOS: Go to Headphones tab → Support

Your RUN firmware will display after the app build number.

The latest firmware is v1.1.6 If you have an earlier version download the Firmware Update Assistant and follow the instructions.

2. Firmware Update Assistant

Download the Firmware Update Assistant and follow the instructions. The Update Assistant will tell you if your RUN already have the latest firmware.
