How do I know if my Jaybird Freedom have the latest firmware?

There are two ways to check if your Freedom's have the latest firmware v1.2.2
 

  1. Jaybird App
    • Install the Jaybird app and connect your Freedom buds

      • Android: Go to Menu → Support
      • iOS: Go to Headphones tab → Support
    • Your Freedom firmware will display after the app build number
    • The latest firmware is v1.2.2, so if you have an earlier version download the Firmware Update Assistant here and follow the instructions.

2. Firmware Update Assistant
 

  • Download the Firmware Update Assistant here and follow the instructions. The Update Assistant will tell you if your Freedom already has the latest firmware.
